Monika Dunbar is the Director of North and South American Non-Profits and Funders for Digital Science & Research Solutions Inc (DSRSI). DSRSI is a technology company serving the needs of scientific and research communities at key points along the full cycle of research. DSRSI’s family includes Altmetric, CC Technology, Dimensions, Figshare, Readcube, and Symplectic. Each year DSRSI serves millions of researchers and thousands of research institutions – funders, publishers, and universities from the largest organizations like the NIH and Nature to the smallest nonprofits and foundations. Monika’s position at DSRSI is an extension of her 18 years of experience supporting the missions of research funders first as a grant manager for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and the Foundation for the National Institutes of Health and later as the head of Altum’s grants management solution, proposalCENTRAL. Monika lives in northern Virginia with her husband and two young daughters.

Alyssa Ford is the Data Team Lead at Tech Impact, a nonprofit focused on using technology to better serve our world. Alyssa spent 9 years in project management and business intelligence in the private sector before refocusing her career to work with nonprofits in order to have a greater community impact. Alyssa now leads a group of individuals passionate about helping nonprofits assess data needs, implement cloud-based solutions, identify data solutions and enhance their use of data through analytics and visualization. She has a BSE in Bioengineering from Arizona State University and certificates in Secondary Education (Mathematics) and Business Analysis and Project Management. Alyssa volunteers with multiple nonprofits in Delaware, including the Special Olympics. Her passions include using data to make an impact on the broader community by using numbers to tell a story. She practices what she preaches by using data visualization not only at work, but also at home!

As Director of Customer Experience, Eric has been working closely with SmartSimple's clients for over a decade. His role is to ensure the SmartSimple user community makes the most of our platform as their needs evolve. Eric has been a frequent presenter at SmartSimple's annual conferences, regional events and webinars, as well as philanthropic sector conferences including PEAK Grantmaking.

Amber López Gamble is the director of grants management at The California Wellness Foundation leading grants management to advance the foundation's mission through excellent customer service, efficient operations, and data-informed decision making. She led the efforts to re-engineer and streamline grant processes and the implementation of a new Salesforce-based grants management and CRM system. During her tenure at the foundation, she has served in a variety of capacities. She worked closely with executive leadership to lead interdepartmental projects and the implementation of strategic grantmaking and operational systems. She also designs and is the administrator for several digital solutions for automated workflows, collaboration, and internal communication.
Previously, López Gamble served at Four Bands Community Fund on the Cheyenne River Sioux Tribe Reservation in South Dakota, developing and teaching a course in entrepreneurship and providing assistance to small business owners. She also worked as the Public Policy Coordinator and later Program Director at the California Institute for Rural Studies overseeing re-granting programs, conducting research and providing capacity building training to organizations throughout California’s Central Valley. |
Anthony Mashkovich is the director of information technology at The California Wellness Foundation, where he manages information systems and technology to support the achievement of the Foundation’s mission and goals. In his role, Mashkovich oversees daily operation and projects related to internal systems, including networks, software applications and telecommunications; manages network administration and security protocols; and maintains a disaster recovery strategy for all software applications and data.
Prior to joining Cal Wellness in November 2015, Mashkovich was the regional director for information technology for the southwest region of Gensler, a major architectural firm. He also has experience as the director of information technology for companies in the entertainment, private equity and manufacturing sectors. He holds a bachelor’s degree in management information systems from Azusa Pacific University. He is also Six Sigma certified and a Microsoft Certified Professional. |
